The Bookish Tag

What's up Targets?
Today I am here with The Bookish Tag which I was nominated for by the lovely Nabila of Hot Town Cool Girl. I have seen this tag floating around the blogging community and have been hoping to be nominated so once again thank you Nabila!

Which book has been on your shelf the longest?

Probably the Velveteen Rabbit by Margery Williams, Which was the first chapter book I ever read.

What is your current read, your last read, and the book you will read next?

I am not reading a book at the moment **Whimper**, I last reread Scorch Trials by James Dashner I am hoping to read Matched by Allie Crombie next as it looks like a really good book.

What book did everyone like but you hated?

I have to say I didnt really enjoy Under the Mountain by Maurice Gee, I don't know why  I just didn't.

What book do you keep telling yourself you will read but you probably won't?

Hmmm, Probably the last Harry Potter book, I don't know why but I have never read it and am kinda disappointed in myself cause you can't call yourself a Potterhead without reading all the books.... Can you???

What books are you saving for retirement?

Ahhh, None? I have never thought about saving a book, I just wanna read em all.

Last page: read if first or wait till the end?

Definitely wait, For one thing it never makes sense usually unless you read one of those amazing but super annoying books that end on a total cliff hanger.

Acknowledgement: a waste of paper or interesting aside?

I quite like readig acknowledgments, I just find it interesting.

Which book character would you switch places with?

This one is hard - Maybe Teresa from Maze Runner? Maybe Katniss from the Hunger Games? Maybe Samantha from The Memory Book (Although she dies so maybe not) Maybe Briana/The Breeze from Gone? What about Ivy from The Book of Ivy? I just couldn't choose. (How about Hermione???)

Do you have a book that reminds you of something specific in your life?

This sounds like such a stereo typical blogger answer but Girl Online by Zoe Sugg has always really related to me in the way of finding out who you are and being yourself in the real world as well as the online world.

Name an interesting book that you acquired in an interesting way?

I got The Garbage King by Elizabeth Laird a year or so ago in my school libraries free book box and I didn't expect to enjoy it that much but it was so interesting and unique.

Have you ever given a special book to a special person for a special reason?

I have always loved the idea of giving someone a book that will change there life but I can't say I have. Yet.

Which book has been with you most places?

A diary of a young girl by Anne Frank has been with me a lot but so has Tracy Beaker by Jacqueline Wilson

Used or brand new?

Can I say both? I love old books because I like imagining who held this before me and did it have a special meaning and where has it been to and so on and so on but new books I like the smell. Yeah. The smell.

Have you ever read a Dan Brown book?

Did he write the Da Vinci Code? If so then yes, yes I have.

Have you ever seen a movie you liked more than the book?

Not that I recall.

Have you ever read a book that made you hungry?

I don't know why but Pollyanna by Eleanor Porter always makes me hungry.

Who is the person whose book advice you'll always take?

Basically any of my friends, bloggers, librarians and occasionally my mum.

Is there a book out of your comfort zone that you loved?

Michael Morporgo's Shadow isn't a book I would usually read but I found it so happy and heart breaking at the same time.

For this tag I nominate anyone who likes books or anyone who reads this post!!!!

    1. I suppose being Teresa could suck at some points especially when she betrayed the Gladers.
