What's up Targets?
As you can see by the title, Today I am doing a bok review on 'The Girl In Between' by Laekan Zea Kemp. Yes, A week or so ago I did a review but this book was to good to resist. So lets stop my babble (I like that word) and get on with the post.
Bryn Reyes has Klein-Levin Syndrome, A disease in she suffers 'episodes' of sleep that take away days, weeks and sometimes even months of Bryn's life.
Unlike most KLS patients, Bryn doesn't spend her episodes in in a catatonic state or wake up with no idea of the times she has missed. Instead Bryn spends half her life in an alternate reality made of her memories.
One day in the 'Dream State' as Bryn calls it, A boy who she has never met before washes up on her memory beach with no idea who he is.
But the boy isn't the strangest thing happening, Bryn's symptoms are getting worse and she is plagued by hallucinations even when she is awake
Can the boy in her head be thekey to what is really happening to her? If she doesn't find out his identitu=y in the real world then both of them may not survive.
I loved this book and it is actually the 1st in a series. I know I am not the best at book reviews so head on over to this site here to see a full review.
Thanks for reading and I hope you have a great day!
